My annual oil change was due, and I'd found 5l of oil in the shed that I had forgotten about. Couple that with the filter I was given a while ago, and that's the next 12months/10k miles sorted for free. Having done the crank oil-seal back in the summer, the level hasn't changed since, and after 8,500miles the oil is still just avbout clear.

Topped up the gearbox fluid; it turns out that if you rest each wheel onto a scrap Morris 1300 wheel it's high enough! I must buy another pair of axle stands.

Checked the coolant, it's good to -30 so I left it alone.

Added about 1l of screenwash. I can't remember the last time I did this; it lasts for ages! I checked the resulting mixture out whilst I had the refractometer handy; -12 should be good enough.

Checked the tyre pressures ready for next week's French trip.

I came across mine the other day, still unopened from when I picked them up from TB's house.  ::)

Not sure if I'll ever get around to fitting them, for no other reason apart from I'm just not sure if I'll like them or not.  :-\  Might give them a trial in the summer ...... says he again for about the fourth year running.  ::) ;D

Earlier in the week Serek and his team fitted a replacement Diff in the project.  :y

Today I replaced the front discs (trade club), pads (GM OEM - Jurid), sensor and painted up the calipers and bracket. Bled through fresh fluid and found that there are two broken springs on the back (KYB standard ride height) and the back discs and pads could probably do with being renewed as well....  ::) I have the OEM pads so just need to source some discs.

Repaired the electric drivers window in the battlebus. Fixed some broken wires in the tailgate to get the bidet (rear wash wipe) working.

Replaced a missing fuse and got ignition on the auxiliary heater, followed by a lockout because the electric pump doesn't work. Ordered a new pump...

Did an oil and filter change. Just need an MOT now....

The car is a lot better for them, not harsh at all, just more composed  :y
