Thanks for the advice ... lets hope it is as obvious as you hint ... wirebrush, and hammerite underbody seal with waxoyl will both be used, hopefully with a half decent result .. :)

If you look at reply No.9 from Webby in the link below it will give you an idea of the area you are looking at Nige.  :y

I already had .... :(  Think the MOT might have been a tad more than "Advisory, needs treatment" if mine were that bad .... (he said hopefully .... )  :)

I don't mean to be negative, but now is not a time for fairy dust and wishful thinking...  wire brushing will liberate a spectrum of emotion along with flakes of paint and rust...

Whilst not pretty, this car subsequently passed an MoT with a corrosion advisory.

A busy couple of days for the Datsun, had her in to Nigel Langs for a geometry check and apart from the left rear toe being out all was well  :)

Waiting game... ie waiting for somebody to figure out what is actually going on... lots of scans, but no news... They were talking about coming home today, but nobody knows wtf is going on.

Issue itself was a fall and bang to the head... So far x rays and cat scan clear, and mum is sitting up and talking, so we wait...
