Omegas foam rubber is dry at last.  So I removed driver`s seat to assemble it again. Also the nice cleaned carpet went to it`s place. At last I fitted all plastic panels on drivers side.

Nothing yet but need to change the main beam bulbs before MOT next month, plan on doing that today, fixed the windscreen seal that auto glass replaced when they changed the front windscreen for the third time, that came off both sides while driving at low speed on the motorway, did not realise where this weird like water drainage noise coming from the back of the speedometer etc., Then after stopping for a break on the M1 after driving all the way down from Dundee, saw the strip was loose (the cause of the noise :-X)

My issue was:

1) I can't weld so no DIY repair.
2) If the sills are shot, what else is about to rust to the point of cutting and welding requires fixing.  :'(

1. Not strictly true...
2. Nothing that can't be addressed... See 1.

I disagree.  Certainly my sills were shot. I've even got the replacement sills in Hornby's garage (based on the fact I'm not good at welding used metal).

But I certainly lack the skills to do bodywork repairs and spraying, which was the underlying concern I had with mine, even if I fixed the gearbox/sills/aircon, I'd still likely fail next MOT on perforated rear wings.
