Did some painting on areas I sandblasted yesterday. Looks nice. Also I assembled the sill covers again.

Arrived back at Gatwick, was unexpectedly greeted by Doctor Gollum who kindly dragged my 80yr old mum's luggage to the car :y.

Battlebus collected, made good time home.

Nice to see you DG, a very pleasant surprise, and thanks for helping mum out - though I'm surprised given her stubbornness over such things, surprised she let you help ;D :y.

Likewise :y

Although it would have been rude not to... Especially as I was being paid to be there :D

Her stubbornness must be mellowing... There's hope for you yet :-P

Recalled that the Roller Skate's MOT has expired. Just as the weather gets nice. >:(

Booked in for Thursday. ::) Will I last that long in an Omega with bust air-con?

Sitting in the warm sun with a bottle of wine beside. ;)

Thinking about, how to lift Ommis rear high enough to remove the rear suspension.

Of course without using a lifting ramp.  :o. I want to do some sandblasting above the suspension.

Discovered that 2 exhaust rubbers had worked their way off the backbox  >:(

Thankfully our office is next to a good motorfactors so I was able to buy some more. Then followed the rarest of all things, a 10 minute job that took 10 minutes. Drilled the hangers, refitted the rubbers and secured them with some R-clips.

Job jobbed.

I hope they are better than the 926's I took off the TD after 5k or so. Premium ditchfinders, whereas the 916''s were excellent. :-\ :-\ :-\

Took oil filter cap off the 3.2, expecting to find mayo, none. Even after few short runs of late, clearly by using it every Friday for work is helping there.

But neither car used today, working from home. Might have to spark the BBQ up for lunch  8)

Just before lunch, panicky phone call from one of the managers working on something I can't mention, "we need an ESX server and a Linux 7 VM in the next 90 minutes"
