Finished sandblasting on my Caravan above rear suspension. Ugly work at 32°C, but looks great. Tomorrow I will do the painting in silk black. :D

Next week I will renew the brake pipes rear and the ton bearings (is that right in English?)

Complete reassembling will be later next week.

Not sure that's right, can you describe?

I'd afraid to say that my German ends at "Nine!" and "Actung! Spitfire!"  :-[

Rolf's English is bloody good, and embarrasses me that I can't even begin to speak his native tongue  :-[

Coming back from Bro's shop. Same bit of road, same (I believe) poxy asshole in his wanky Pisshat DTi not wanting to let me by, as a week weeks ago when I had to teach him how to brake and go round corners before leaving him way in rear view mirror, shortly before the Bullet's gearbox gives up.

So same routine today. Knobhead. But then, to quote Mrs TB, all VW drivers have little willies. Soon dispatched the idiot, and prayed the gearbox didn't let go. It didn't, phew!

Related, come back from bro's shop today, quarter of a tank (according to gauge) of lorry fuel spent, approx. 30 miles.

Every time I looked at dash, was reading between 6 and 11mpg, apart from when it read 99mpg under braking.

S'pose I'll have to see the mongs at BP in the morning. If I CBA.

Either blue or grey... Helps to check before purchase ::)

Yes they sent a grey one.  I just assumed that grey plastic is cheaper than blue as it's a pattern sensor.  ::)

Hi The Boy

Thx for your interlingual friendly words.

I mean these bearings:

In German we say "Tonnenlager". Tonnen = tons, Lager = bearings. What is the English word for that?

Hi Doc Gollum

No, the top bushes are OK. The problem is the lower bearing.

On this forum they tend to be called 'donut bushes' (or 'rear subframe doughnut bushes')
