Scary !  :o
Forgetting the covid thing for a minute - after all, it is all over, isn't it...

How come in a car or minibus, you have to be strapped to a seat at all times the vehicle is moving. Yet on a 100mph train, standing is a requirement?

Because people who use trains that they have to stand on aren't considered important?

Because it's too expensive to add enough trains to give every passenger a seat?

Because there isn't enough capacity in the network to have enough trains for enough seats in the time required?

Because the people who make the rules flunked out of practical things when they were still in the womb?

Because it's Somebody Else's Problem?

Because.....

Let's just go with the first, as it's the most applicable :y

Pre MoT on the Barge produced a short list...

Rear tyres and a front ball joint... Both anticipated.

High Co emissions... Not anticipated. Any pointers?

HC and Lamda both fine :-\

how high is high CO  ? and what was the HC and Lamda ?
Was it up to temperature ?
clean air filter ? (High CO is running rich)
any leaks on the exhaust ,even minor ? (a zorst leak can suck air and give false Lambda data)
is the coolant temp sensor reading correctly
induction air leaks ? unmetered air

I want to say 0.33 and up :-\

Lambda and HC both within limits.

Exhaust is the original one, but sound... Checked on the lift rather than guessing.
No EML.
Deffo upto temp... Garage is 12 miles away. Normally sits around 85°

Plugs and leads changed a couple of months ago, but it is just about due a service, last about 15 months/9k ago.

The closed side of the intake is pretty tight on the M112/3 engine...

Air filters built into the sides of the engine cover, (straight line feed from either side of the rad).
Both feed to a single point at the back of the cover... Which locates directly onto the MAF.
90° duct (inside corner is barely an inch long).
Throttle body which is bolted to the plenum which in turn has a variable valve built in.

It’s possible that I disturbed something whilst replacing the breather hoses, these feed to the 90° between the MAF and TB as there's a few vac lines in the same area.

Thinking about it, the idle could be a touch high, need to look at the live data to confirm, but rev counter would suggest 775-800 :-\

The roof appears to be 'unused' on UK trains.

Perhaps we could follow the example set by India, to help increase passenger capacity. ;)

Couldn't do that around here; many of the tunnels used are barely big enough to fit the train. That's because they were built for the canals.

Could this be an indirect way of implementing TB's cull of the terminally retarded?
