Just paid a friggin' fortune to tax my Audi and one Omega - £615  and £360... >:(
Nearly a grand ......ridiculous money.....takes the edge off the pleasure of driving them :-\

RS4  ? ? ?

 :y :y :y

Nice one.  :y  Makes it worth spending that to tax it for a nice car like that.  :y

My tax autorenewed, same as my insurance.

Why complicate things :D
I do the tax on an annual DD (not monthly, as more expensive), but do like to shop around for insurance, so don't tend to have that on autorenew.
Normally I would, but it didn't go up from last year and I CBA :D
I'm 70 next year, and I've heard tell that, just like when your dog gets old, the insurance increases each year you survive. ;D

Three score years and ten and then that is your lot. Lights out. >:D

True. Its an amazing car to drive. Had it for 7 1/2 years, and it always puts a smile on my face - especially with that V8 growl :y
The tax works out around £50 a month - a relatively small amount when you factor in the other costs to run it....!!

As it happens, I do actually tend to stick with same company, currently LV, but make sure I consciously do it, rather than let them autorenew.

I had hopes of fitting the other cyl head today but one of the used valves I robbed from the s/h head has no collet groves left!!! Waiting to see if the local engine recon place can get one.

Had new tyres fitted on the back of the 530D, fronts still OK for a bit longer thankfully. Also managed to wash the Volvo quickly as it was caked in mud and salt  :-[

Im saving washing mine until Im working dayshift on Boxing day. Will get the Karcher out at work and get all the salt and shit off the underneath, then give the paintwork a good wash.
Just been driving home in the dark, from Christmas shopping with swmbo. The headlights are appalling (and my eyes arent getting any younger.
I must teat it to a headlight lens polish and a pair of new bulbs soon. I think the bulbs are originals.
Which ones to buy though. Istr its a bit of a minefield.   ::)
