More progress on the intake.

Had a completely brainfart moment, couldn't get to a bolt out.  Chrisgixer popped over, and had it out in 30s....   ....talk about sometimes just needing a fresh set of eyes!

He hung around for a bit, so we got the old manifold off and the new one on.  So the rebuild can start again in the week.

Massive thanks to Mr Gixer, that's 2 curries I owe now.  Obviously, I'll have to be dragged to the curry house, kicking and screaming ;D

How else would one describe removing a component and replacing it with another ::)

Exactly that. I replaced the steering wheel... or I changed the steering wheel...

Stick a plum in your mouth for added authenticity!  :y                                                  ;D

I'm glad it isn't just me that finds the increasingly common, but redundant, preposition really irritating.

Another Americanism that gets on my t1ts is when they 'tear down' an engine/etc .... and again, it seems to be getting increasingly common over here too

It's not the tear down that's annoying, but how they're always 'going to go ahead and do something' or 'I went ahead and did something else.' Perhaps we should acquisate a guillotine? ;D

That's irritating fluffy to tease what's coming after the never ending adverts about all the medical diseases you didn't realise you had until the advert.

If you think our tellybox is dire, you should see some of the shite they have to put up with  :o
