Had to press the Countryman back into service as the Yeti is playing up, bloody emission stuff. That Omega engine is sweet and sounds the mutts nuts with the straight through silencers!!

Many years ago I owned a Rover 3.5 SD1 Vitesse TP. Just before we were due to go on holiday, it blew a hole in the centre box of the exhaust and was blowing badly. We were skint back then so as a temporary measure I cut out the middle box and welded a length of oversize pipe in its place to bridge the gap. When I started the engine the burbling V8 sounded the mutts nuts with just the rear box, so I never bothered to replace the exhaust system. It even went through future MOT’s like it.  :y

The 190 BHP Vitesse lump made the V8 Rover lump quite quick. :y
