the problem is you see everyone thinks that theirs is the only delivery that you are doing in that big lorry.......

Ahh..brain child here...tell your manager to have smaller vans, more drivers, more depots, and pay u more money ....Unlikely to happen though

well i might not have to put up with it much longer as my old line manager has got his business running along great now and he rang me half hour ago asking if i wanted a job doing professional tv installs i.e. wall mounting plasmas an lcd`s and setting up home cinema systems...better money,better hours and working for someone who treats you well rather than being a mushroom...gotta talk it over now with the missus as i`m on an iva an i dont know if that would change...

Left work at 16:45 home at 20:20, 12 mile trip took around 30 miles.

Drove through lots of floods, some up to the bonnet!

Terrible trip

Entwood, 4hrs ago, just came round Oxford. The water is high and rising, as expected. Might be worth avoiding Oxford, an stick to motorways if clear.
