If everyone stayed calm and relaxed, instead of trying to knock 2 mins. off a 30 min. journey, there would be a lot better drivers on the road.

OK, if your stuck behind someone who want's to observe the speed limit, or you come across a learner doing a reverse turn in the road, relax, and enjoy the radio. Getting uptight and aggitated is not going to solve the problem. All you are doing is stressing yourself up, to no avail.

I agree, I used to drive around 40K per year, I quickly learned that the best way of driving was to stay relaxed, and let every one else do their own thing.

I don't 'sit' in any of them! I use the road as it was intended. i.e. keep as far left as is possible and only change lanes when you need to overtake something. That way I stay out of lane 3 as much as possible.

I quite agree AA! I too have done my fair share of driving. In the past 20 years or so I reckon I've averaged around 40k a year, (with a couple of exceptional years where it was around 60!!). I learned to 'chill' very early on!

That's one of the main reasons I use lane 1 as much as possible! There's so much space there you wouldn't believe!! I leave the stressed out nuggets in the convoy in lane 3 to have their coronaries about people getting in front of them!!

I don't 'sit' in any of them! I use the road as it was intended. i.e. keep as far left as is possible and only change lanes when you need to overtake something. That way I stay out of lane 3 as much as possible.
