I think Halfaurds do a Kit for taking off Locking Nuts If Your Stuck and the bashing a smaller socket on will not work

Have tried both - if you look at the pic the outer rim moves on it's own - so when i stick a socket on it just moves the out rim.

Alas through personal experience, I can tell you that a chisel and a LOT of beating is the only way to get these off if you don't have the key!

Same here been in a situation where my Mums old Cavalier had some locking nuts fitted, some plank at the tyre place had used a gun with the adapter and knacked the adapter.

In the end I spent best part of a day drilling out a lockable nut then finishing with a cole chisel.

I had this on an astra - I drilled three holes (about 10 drill bits and TWO drills later) and then smacked a chisel in to join the holes - then turned that with a t-bar...

You may find that you can remove the outer collar that spins by splitting it with a small chisel, then bang a 13/16 socket on whats left and bobs your moms brother!  Thats how mine came off. Oh and grind the chamfer off the socket so it bites better

Looks like a GM locker to me...  They're well secure it would seem....  Try having a word with the mechanics at your local VX dealer, see if they'll help for a pint or two...  don't go thru service reception!!!!!!!!! ;)
