any one in the essex area that can do this to my 2ltr 1997 want some beer tokens for doing it

Normally only available on 98 and later cars :(

had mine done on the weekend, it does make a difference, smoother changes, when it gets to 50 it doesn't 'clunk' into top now it is almost seamless now.

i have noticed that it kicks down a gear more readily whilst on overrun, something it has never done before.

overall i would strongly recommend having it done

Version 0A does indeed exist for some ECUs, but offers no advantages from v09...

If the last letter in your VIN is a R,S,T, or V then the upgrade cannot be applied.  If its W. X, Y or a 2001 or later car, it can.
