Diff oil

Simple question, does this need changing?
Think it has never been changed.
I'm not sure did I write correctly I mean diff as the part on the rear axle where propshaft goes in

There's no easy way to drain it other than to take off the backplate. If it's not an LSD then I'd say leave it be.

You might be able to get it nice and hot and then use an oil extractor in the level plug perhaps?

i just topped mine up. It dunarf penanink. There is a guide if that helps. Wouldnt worry too much unless its high miles or done a lot of towing. Or if the areas is wet with oil maybe the prop seal is past it, just top it up to the level hole i guess?
