MV6 MOT
« on: 08 February 2008, 10:12:29 »

FAILED  :'(

Buckled wheel (that would explain the handling).

Handbrake efficiency poor (and I adjusted it the other day). Comes up about 5 clicks, no more, but just not stopping his rollers.

Not entirely sure what to do about the handbrake either?  I guess strip it down, and see if anything wrong?

Trouble is, it stops on a slope, but obviously not efficient enough still for MOT.

Has anyone stripped handbrake down? Is it easy/obvious?

Stretched cable?

No, the cable is fine, and the fact I can only get 5 clicks (6 at a real push) would suggest the cable/mechanism are working?

Got a delivery to make first thing, so lunchtime OK?

Would we be able to try to locate this (now stopped) coolant leak.

I haven't hit any potholes since last alignment (when I know they were slightly ovaled) - although she curbed NSF.  I have had some massive understeer moments, would that have done it?

You could just fit the spare......perfectly acceptable.
