NCDC series - CDC SAFE
« on: 14 July 2008, 13:22:36 »

If the CD changer unit has been swapped over, but not the vertical circuit board, would this cause CDC Safe?

Solution, assuming the repair company have lost original board?

I reckon so because the vertical board is the bit that normally replaces the board with the code on it in a CDC3 IIRC.

Tunnies is the one with CDC problem.  Paired to display, but not 'depairable'  :'(

Could be to do with the CD issue possibly.

Wont allow a de-pair until all units are happy?

I think the carpass we have does not match the radio/CID

Depends on your definition of 2 complete sets!  Someone has had a real go at both of them.

If we can get him 1 complete working set out of the 2 sets we have (looks complete, excpet missing 1 cdc board), we can have the 'leftovers' for ourselves ;)

Have you tried the CDC board out of the 2015?
