I don't know how.. or even if... it impacts on server time/resources but I don't see much point in the list at the top of every sub-forum/topic of the folks who are reading that page .....:(  IMHO it is totally pointless !!!

If it makes no difference to performance then fine . but it could be a way of reducing standing loads ??

This slow sever issue is becoming a bit of a bind. Managed to loose a couple of posts somehow. Had hoped those days where gone.  :(

Although I would appologise for my lack of patience and realize all is being done that can be.

Usefulness is one thing, but I find it interesting to see who's reading what and when.

Admin team always had it on old site, here its all or noone.

May not add a lot of usefulness, but the voyeur in me likes it ;)

Is there a way of turning on 'favourites' to bookmark sites?  no big deal as any browser can store bookmarks, but the portablility was nice.

There's always Xmarks/Foxmarks/etc if you want to sync bookmarks between computers..

Yeah, I know its a PITA. For that I can only apologise. Not entirely sure what trigger is, not the backups as first thought.

please bear with us whilst we track down the cause. Its a new learning experience for the admin team as well, and this didn't show up in our testing

search should improve once I finish the search index, but I've paused it due to server stability
