i signed up on the original OOF website a few years ago and changed my username a year or so ago. i can  only log into the new website with my original username, despite it displaying my new username.   

That's to be expected - TB had a (long) post about it at the top of every forum on the YaBB powered site for about a week prior to the switchover..

No, you never changed your username - you can't. You changed your display name

the new software only allows you to log on with your username, whereas YaBB allowed you to log on with your email, username or display name.

How do I stop email notification for every topic I get notified for? Had a look but can't see how to switch it off

When I have posted and then want to return to that board rather than return to the home page,I dont seem to be able to do it.

This limit of 5 PM,s per hour is a real nuisance. Must be even worse for admins.

I know. But until we can get the site stable, its one of the protective measures we have to take.

I was shocked how many PMS were I  use when we migrated - that's the only time we've ever seen a proper count. And remember, that didn't include the 'storage' boxes that could not be migrated.

As said in lots of threads, possibly this one, the built in function doesn't seem to work in the way we need it to, so that needs investigation. But it's a fair way down the priority list I'm afraid, as I have so much other modifications and scripts to rewrite first

I have been using a mobile for a while so I have not been reading all the threads 

Just posting the odd word now and again untill I get my laptop back

It's a very minor point, and probably very, very low on any priority list .... but in the list of active members on the "front" page ... Daz appears in the same colour as all the rest of us plebs .... KW, H21 etc have a nice subtle difference in appearance......  I know they are "global" mods and Daz has not reached such exalted heights ....but his contribution to the forum is important and should be highlighted IMHO ( must be able to make his name pink surely     )
