I'm sure this is going to be more trouble than it's worth, partly due to the financial climate, estate and saloon models, single and double/either side  exit exhaust exits, and sorting money up front etc etc but....

I spoke to the guys at Irmscher uk today checking stock and availability on some imry bits damaged on my car due to a prang.

They seem confident of getting sport star wheels should my repairer deam replacement necessary. 

But got to chatting re body kits and stock levels, they have non for our model! ... but if enough interest the uk guys seem up for requesting The factory to do produce I limited run of Irmscher body kits for the Omega. 

Now obviously it's going to depend on numbers making it cost effective, what ever that number is I don't know, and irmscher themselves accepting the order of course.

But as a start off is there any interest at all?

 These kits ain't cheap don't forget, so don't put your name down unless your prepared to put your money where your mouth is please.

Good work Chris, and hope it comes off for you....I suspect the body kits will be too expensive for most though   do you have any idea on price?

No word on price yet. Bit chicken and egg syndrome I know. I suggested I email this link to their omega owner, a member here I believe, when he gets back off Holiday and go from there if it looks promising.

But as you say, cost is going to be the limiting factor, the desire is there I'm sure, but the cash? That's another matter.

Speaking from experience of trying to shift aftermarket parts for the MR2 - at the moment people are happy to buy stuff that's £50 or less.. but over that and nobody will bite (even when it's a stupidly good deal)

I suspect a genuine Irmscher kit is going to be considerably north of £1k, unpainted?

As you know, if the price isn't astronomical then I'm interested Even if it's only Front and sides (as I doubt there'll be enough interest for Estate rear bumpers)

I fear that may well be the case too, which means there's unlikely to be enough interest, but if they are doing a limited "to order" run we can live in hope that it's more sensible

Indeed. Still gotta hope that it's sensibly priced and enough interest as the chances of me finding one otherwise are slim to none

i'd be interested in an estate kit, if the price was even remotely sensible, AND coincidentally at the time of delivery, i could afford it....  my cash flow tends to come in lumps, with some irregularity....  some times i'm sitting on a spare couple of grand, other times, i'm that much in the hole..

so, a maybe really, i couldn't commit to a 2 grand spend at some random moment in the future.... 

especially when , these days i could buy another car for that..... 

but it would be nice.....

Does depend on how much and when, but 1k is about what all the bits and bobs cost as and when they become available in Germany.

I've literally today, bought a 2nd hand Irmscher front bumper for mine!  How's that for impeccible timing! 

TBH though, I would have only been interested in the front and sides anyway.  Having looked at a couple now, I really don't like the estate rear bumper at all.

The bumper itself ties in well with the rest of the kit, but not sure about the tailgate trim though

I agree it looks good on a side profile, but I think it's too fiddly, especially with the parking sensors as well. Plus, has anyone come up with a solution that will allow a towbar to be used in conjunction with the dual exhaust system?

Lazybump has a brochure showing a Black Estate with full Irmscher kit. It's mouth watering from every angle IMO.

I don't think the exhausts are part of the plan. But given the number of tow bar configurations, it would have to be a bespoke solution for each car for the one either side exhausts I would have thought. And cutting an Irmscher bumper...ooh that's brave.

Just for info, either side exhaust exit does specify, " not with tow bar"

Believe the conventional exhaust exit bumpers are cheaper are they? and slightly different design?
