Stung by a wasp this morning, still hurts. How long does it sting for?

 a day or a bit longer.. if you dont have allergy (some people have)  , its not a problem..

Yeah... I got stung a week or 2 back, right in the scalp >:( >:(

It's that long since I was last stung I'd forgotten how uncomfortable it is for so long ::) ::)

Just as well it went for me and not SWMBO though... She'd have gone into anaphylactic shock  :o :o

i got stung on the nuts a few weeks back by a wasp  felt like i had a 3rd nut  very painful it was took over a week to be rid of the pain

Was stung in the neck just before Newent, painful, lasted about a day, then itched for 3 or 4 days after that. Bastid things.

Not checked, but recall that quickly applied vinegar is the best way to take 'the sting' out of it, as it were... :)

Have you removed 'the sting'  if not will hurt till you do get it out.

Have you removed 'the sting'  if not will hurt till you do get it out.
If a wasp thenwill have removed it themselves in any event.  Only bees loose their sting, sort of one time option, as it tears the rear parts from their abdomen as they escape.  Wasps can sting multiple times as no barb on the end.   :y

Indeed, Jasper wasn't content with having me once, the tinker came and had another go  >:(

Another half inch or so, would have had Tim. That would have served them both right  >:(  >:(  >:(
