As said before i fitted senator bushes to my omega, and yes i cut the tops of the aluminium "towers"
off to make them fit, no issues at all with them falling out, they are a tighter fit then the omega ones but the car is still going with no issues nearly a year later?

Wonder if driving style makes a difference, as chrisgixer's Carlton ones kept falling out.  He drives like a man possessed though, not Miss Daisy like you OT

They didn't fall out as such, although I know what you mean. In effect the subframe rises up, the bushes stay put!

thinking about that, packing out the top of the subframe with another pad might help. But the Carlton ones I fitted where noticeably tighter to fit, they where not   right for omega.
