aux input ccrt700
« on: 15 October 2011, 21:25:14 »

Hi does anybody know if you can wire an aux input to a ccrt 700 via the traffic master system if i ditch it. when i press the button to activate the traffic master the display says :aux in, so there must be an aux input built into the stereo.
If you can do this is it a small power supply that switches the stereo in to aux mode like an amp remote wire turns an amp on? If somebody knows if and how to do this it would be great if you can let me know. A wiring diagram would also be helpful. :y

Because the Omega has an amplified built in FM aerial, any extra joints in the cable for a modulator etc will result in an even weaker signal when listening to FM, which is why they are no longer considered for use here.

FM adapters or cassette adapters were not offered as the question was 'Aux input on CCRT700' ;)
