Is there any point in keeping this thread open as there's little that people can realistically say about this unhappy matter  - given the legal constraints - without straying into territory that will require continuous moderation due to inappropriate comment or prejudgement?

The admin team would be most happy to but there are some on here who will most probably start another thread with minimal point and keep the pot boiling.

Ultimately, as said by the articles, its something that is historic in as much as it is alleged to have happened several years ago.  It has been investigated and reported for prosecution and a further court date has been set.  Bail and legal conditions now apply.

Lets leave it there....

I really dont know what to say. We wouldnt be posting this if it was a random person but at the same time the accusations are horrific. I will keep my comments to a minimum to respect lee, the situation, and the forum. As a father my views on this.............well just cant find the words.

Stunned. Must have been sufficient evidence to execute a warrant  :-\

Thats not to say he must be guilty, article mentions theft of computers? Possibility one of those had said illegal material?

Not for us arm chair critics to cast judgement for or against, thats for a court of law.

But an important heads up for anyone considering work done on their car, as he did use to offer repair services.

Thoughts go to those families he has visited for OOF related work  :(

I've no interest in passing comment on the situation until legal proceedings are finalised, other than to say that, given the article was dated 8th November, I guess this might explain why he was offline, for some time...

I also note there was nothing in the articles about WHEN the case was due to be committed, to crown court.

On that basis, and on the basis Lee has been posting on here recently, I just wonder if the case has been heard / outcome decided...

After all, Lee has accessed the internet here, in the last few days, and I guess posting on a car forum, in the event you might get work, is not really "in the course of employment" - I therefore wonder if his bail conditions have changed, or perhaps he has been found not guility..?

No idea if this is true or not and I'm not about to make judgement!

The least we can do is give Lee due respect and let the Law of The Land decide.......

 I think we should all be neutral and let the law proceed.

I will say this however...as this fella is 'one of our own' I notice that the comments are less than when this situation has happened to others in society. Knives have been drawn and ropes thrown over branches from the outset, even before proven guilty !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
