Omega General Help / Rear wheel bearing puller dimensioning
« on: 18 June 2011, 09:07:24 »
Hello all
I am going to change the rear wheel bearing in the near future without taking away the suspension arm. I understood that the suspension arm have a flanger and the bearing have to be pulled out. I will make the tool by myself by using M20 thread etc. Could anyone inform what is the minimum diameter of the hole in the suspension arm. The bearing outer diameter seems to be 74 mm and the thickness of the outer sleeve of the bearing is 2.5 mm. Thus the minimum hole/flange inner diameter in the suspension arm shoul be something between 69 mm and 74 mm but how much it is ? This info is neede when making the puller tool as I want to have everything ready before I start this job.
