Of course it's the washing machines fault - who else could be to blame?

It's got sensors that stop you opening the door for 5 minutes after the cycle has finished. Sensors to stop the spinning if the load is too heavy/out of balance. Sensors to stop it operating when the lid is off. So why not include something useful like a sensor to alert you when there is something important in the pocket of something you're about to wash?

Unless of course you had to print it off at the library and you had it folded up in the passport...

Been waiting over a week for a delivery of 5 L of 10/40 semi, so I can finish all the engine related jobs on the Omega.
Oil filter sits on my bench looking forlorn for several days now.
As I couldnt do the oil change job this morning I got a bot bored and had a read through my maintenance folder and noticed I last changed the oil & filter in April this year, 650 miles ago. 
Albsiemers is getting worse.

Yep, and Yep. Loads of bits of paper also in with it in the wash - printed copy of US ESTA, printed copy of Oz ESTA, printed copy of Covid Vax details, Travel insurance, USD$22 cash etc - right effing mess. Thankfully my paper driving licence survived in one piece, so no need to get one of these new fangled plastic ID cards.

What I haven't worked out is if I'll have to re-apply for these ESTA's because presumably the replacement passport will have a different number.

We have to keep old passports if the visa expires after the passport, but they're full fat B/C visas.

On the plus side, at least a new US Esta is only $12
