The uptick in Ruskis constantly trying to join.  Its relatively low level, but sustained.

Today was officially the first day of cijnts on bikes season. Barely 3 miles from the house had to swerve to avoid a series of them "filtering" down the centre line. It's annoying enough in stationary traffic but between two lanes of opposing traffic both of which are moving at speed is beyond retarded.  >:(

Many years ago, a guy I worked with was filtering at speed through single lane traffic when he collided head on with another motorcyclist doing the same but from the opposite direction. They both died instantly. Protective gear has progressed massively since those days but adrenaline very often outweighs common sense. It’s not uncommon for a single rider to ride in a much less competitive manner than when that same rider is in a group.

I should have been clearer, motobicyclists... Although the principle is the same... And it wasn't just one or two bikes but around 20 all trying to overtake the same vehicles. Cutting round a vehicle and standing on the brakes for a split second too long means that a couple of cars back, you're basically asking for your mates.to.at best pile into each other or worse get bunched into the oncoming traffic with nowhere to go. Still,.the quicker they try and kill themselves, the sooner they'll be out of the way.

Just because you can accelerate to 100 in a sneeze, it doesn't make you Valentino Rossi. And on no planet is the A29 200 yards north of Brinsbury College a place to weave around two columns of opposing traffic doing 45+. Not least because there's a blind crest into a central island at the college entrance but also.one of the vehicles they were so desperate to get around was a foreign artic.

I wasn't surprised as I approached Billingshurst to see the remains of a Suzuki GSX R held into the hedge with Police tape.
At least the hospitals get a steady supply of organ donors.  :)

.....
I'm not saying I do this, but one could easily just drive at 70mph in a totally empty lane one, and pass all the the slower moving traffic to the right!
 .......

It could be argued that if lane 1 is going faster than the lanes to the right, then you're quite at liberty to pass them on the left ....
If I'm in lane 1 on an otherwise empty motorway & I catch up to some fvck-wit sat in lane 2, there's no way at all that I'll move out to lane 3 to pass them

It depends entirely on how you define a queue.

If you pass at or below the posted limit and don't weave back into lane 2 for a respectable period then one might reasonably argue that passing on the left is perfectly fine. In certain reasonably clearly defined situations it is indeed perfectly legal.

Pissed off to hear that the BBC/government are discussing the prospect of adding the TV licence to our council tax bill. They are desperately clinging on to their current cash cow as they know that hundreds of thousands of households have legitimately (or not) cancelled their TV licence as they watch subscription TV only. They won’t go down the subscription route as they know that people will opt not to subscribe and their cash cow will die.
I honestly haven’t watched or listened to a BBC channel for 25+ years and really don’t give a shite if they go down the pan, in fact I’d gladly watch them go down the pan providing it’s not shown on BBC only.  ;D  They say that by adding it to the council tax, it will prevent anyone from opting out and we’ll be forced to pay for something that just a handful of people still actually watch.
Off to take my blood pressure tablets now as I can feel my anger rising again.  ::)

They refuse to call it a tax. Well they can't call it anything else now.....can they?
I reckon there'd be a huge stink if they tried to do this, Nigel should quickly promise to reverse it.

Two hooded yoofs who obviously have nothing better to do and no  positive attributes to speak, who felt an overwhelming needs to empty 3 bottles of fairy liquid into a water feature in Horsham.

They were obviously puzzled by the lack of immediate bubbling having clearly skipped school long enough to fail to calculate just how much washing liquid 5 cubic metres of water can absorb.

I don't think there's any fish in it but that's not the point.

The fact that I can buy (what appears to be absolutely genuine) oil filters and ship from Ching Chong for considerably less than I can buy in the UK.  And it arrives in 7 days, unlike a small package from the retarded idiot on ebay who says he cant find the tracking number he sent it under.  oppswit Tuesday of a moron.

The amount of time it took me to pay 1. A  small deposit on a tin tent holiday in May. 2. Again the amount of time to pay the wifes car insurance, I know money scams are rife on the internet but the security hoops I had to jump through were ridiculous.
