For bolts that you can't undo by hand, not sure airguns are the solution - frequently shear them ;)

I do happen to have a VAT Free invite for Machine Mart (this Sun I think) ;)
If you guys are in the area . . .

Yes please!  :)

Not just the ones i can't undo, but just make thing easier, like the problems we had with my dads shocks. Wheel nuts should be fine, i copper slip them up.

I got one of these: http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/tiger/path/airmaster-2. Essentially the same spec. for a bit less money (although it has recently gone up).

Does the job for inflating tyres, blowing dust out and cleaning, etc.

If you are looking at getting an air compressor its not just the size of the tank thats important its the amount of air it produces (in cfm (cubic feet/min))

For instance most air tools work on 4-8cfm, so if the compressor only produces 4cfm it will run out of puff quickly, the tank will empty and you'll spend ages waiting for the machine to recharge.

Best bet is to choose the tools you will be using then get a compressor to match the tools, not the other way round

Not tried it, TBH. I find a nice long breaker bar is easier than faffing about getting more tools out. I imagine it would be OK for occasional use but would need to stop for breath if you've got umpteen bolts to do.

Can always attach a bigger reciever to it. ::) Assuming you don't exceed the duty cycle of the motor.

i have an 18 litre at home and its not man enough to undo wheel nuts done up to the recommended 110 nm. My mate has 36 litre and just about copes. You still have to wait for the tank to recharge fully before you hit the trigger or the air gun will just rattle away emptying the air tank quicker than the motor cam fill it up. No idea if the motor or the tank size needs to be beefed up on his? Does anyone have this issue/is able to undo 110nm nuts with a 25 litre tank as im wondering if that is enough?

My 18 litre nfg for wheel nuts, but works well with an air ratchet, drill, tire pressure gauge. So for me, im thinking to go with a rechargeable impact gun next. Cheaper than another 36 litre tank hopefully,no air line to faf with and quieter for the naighboures, got to have a lithium iron battery though.

So Tunnie, maybe some more things to consider, imho. you need something to cope with 110nm wheel nuts, how you make sure of that before buying im not sure...hth
