Got me thinking, is the rad easily accessible?  If so any chance of the measurements, if they are the same.....they are on TC ;)
TD rad is on TC iirc, £234+VAT 2yrs ago.  Strange how that figure sticks in my head, possibly the reluctance to hand over the money  >:(

It is all back together and running beautifully!

7 Thou off the head
Valves ground
Injectors cleaned
Various other bits replaced or cleaned whilst it was open.

Radiator is to be repaired, and take it from there.

Have you kit Jaime, so will keep it safe till someone wants it, or I see you.
Al says you were concerned one bit was not flat / true?  He has checked with an engineers level and it is fine  :y  Huge thanks for the loan of that.

Time will tell  :y

Good news, lets hope it does hold together.  Though if he got it skimmed, that would overcome my worry anyway.

Well, it dumped its coolant again  :'(

A new, better modified rad, with a brass tank is being installed.

He is REALLY hoping that fixes it for good.

Looks like the head's were fine after all.

Hmm, has the water pump been changed for a metal one? cos this does sound like pump impellor(plastic) coming loose when hot?
