Here we go again!!!!!!!!

It's bank holiday and our electricity supply is down to 190 volts!!! >:(

This happened last bank holiday and resulted in the electricity company coming out and digging up the road, changing our supply on to a new spur, filling the hole and going again!

Problem solved!     ........or so we thought! >:( >:(

Sounds like the 'old spur' was  getting overloaded.....so by switching you to another one....sorted it.....trouble is they probably swapped everyone else with a problem to that spur as well....now that one is getting overloaded too....bet they swap you back again  ::) ;D

You are aware that you can sue your supplier for failing to maintain a constant (within 10%) voltage supply & frequency?


PS
Your fixed figure for working out the 10% variable is 230 volts in the UK (that means 23 volts either way from the 230V).

Phone call from help desk, we are 1 of 196 with the same problem! Engineers are working on it and we should have power back by 9 pm!

All well & good until you realise the unsecured broadband is fed from the same phase as you  ;)

No one else is reporting problems, its linked to the phase we were changed on to in may! ;)
