Barry Foster (Vandervalk) tried to chat my Mum up in a London cafe but she knocked him back as she'd just met my Dad. Mums best mate & my godmother Dawn shared a place in Chelsea (overlooking the ground) with Simon Dee's ex wife & i kissed her daughter. Ironically a few years later i was in Borstal with the son. I saw Sean Connery, Ronnie Corbett & Cliff Michlemore at the west sussex golf course when i was a caddy in my teens, & when i was a van driver i delivered a parcel to Roger Daltry's pile in E. Sx but did'nt see him. :y

 ;) Name multi dropper! ;D
Forgot to mention an ongoing connection with a lady friend & Marty Wilde. Would love to elaborate but discretion is the better part of valour & we're still in touch so gob  firmly shut for a change!!
No, it's not his daughter Kim but was'nt she lovelty back in the day?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hWZqllm3mQ&feature=related. I never met her but had a coffee with her dads bass player. Can't say more much as i'd like to but.......a long term friend has to be afforded her privacy.

Ever see his red BMW 750iL?

My wife uncle is Terry Bate who used to own Radio Caroline.

We spent a couple of weeks over in Malta with him a few years ago. He might be minted but he's a really nice bloke.

Had the not-at-all glamorous role of a news camera operator in the late 70's and '80s, there were many politicians bung holes I would have gladly hidden my tripod in, describing them as arrogant does not even begin to capture the reality. Names go to the highest bidder  ;)

A much more enjoyable task was threading the tie-clip mic cable inside the clothing of attractive celebs, my sound recordist and I used to fight over that one..... specifically Elle Macpherson on two occasions - but strangely not Michael Foot  :-X

I have a friend through amateur radio who is nearly 90 but still sharp as a blade. I was at his house a couple of years back when I asked to use his toilet. He apologised that it was a bit of a mess as he was in the process of changing the bathroom and off I went.

When I returned he said that I was in good company and that old toilet had been used, on many occasions, by someone apparently quite famous.

I quizzed him a little further and he said that an old friend of his used to take his little boy to the park at the end of the road and that often he would get "caught short" on the way home and he'd pop in to let his little lad use the loo.

I was intrigued and asked who this little lad grew up to be. "Brian was his name", he said. "Now, what was his surname... ah, yes. May. Brian May. Apparently he's quite a successful guitarist now." You could say that, I suppose. ;D

Quite a few famous people know me. I've asked them not to brag about it and, so far, they've been very good.
