I think is was about 132mph and still pulling,and that was in my vec 2.2,slightly modded of course ,but bottled it after that

Thats what a good many fail to check before they go doing stupid speeds.It just takes something like a nail or screw to be in the tyre,which nearly always nine times out of ten goes unnoticed,to cause a blow out,and gameover.

I seem to have gotten into a routine of picking up a screw or nail in the back tyre of my bike approx once per year.Had a few thoughts about the possible outcome of that as Ive been lying in bed trying to get to sleep at night.

Been a passenger at over 170 mph, my bell end of a brother scaring the pants off me in his 928 GTS.

I will never forget the moment a Citroen AX pulled into our lane doing about 50 mph a mile ahead of us..thank the lord for huge brembo brakes.

Back in the day when I was an idiot, Went off the clock in my old cavalier turbo (eds phase3) which was 160mph, (privae road)  Nowadays, rarely see 85mph.

Got 151 on the digi speedo in my old GSi 3000 which was really scary.

125 out of the Mini Turbo I used to have. That was loads of fun!

Fastest car i'ver ever driven was a flat front 911 turbo, but the fastest i've ever driven is Merc C63 AMG derestricted 175mph,
Fastest i've been on 2 wheels, Fireblade 165mph, that was scary.
