Your welcome TB, it's a case of having an array of "weapons" and methods in the armoury for this little battle, the claw hammer/lever it out with anything you've got approach got us nowhere after, what, an hour?

So time for the secret weapon, the baring puller, mines now seen better days so if anyone needs this job doing at newent mine may not last another extraction, for which I'll be happy to advice from a distance so to speak if we do more than one car as it's a long time laid down on your side without a pillow to stop your neck aching

, and arms will be falling off after a side, would need air tools normally. And I'm sure there will be some hangover going on as well.

Anyway, the silver bullet drives on, thank god, I thought "we" had cross threaded the captive nut at one point, but it was just the bolt hitting the side meaning the subframe needed some leverage to line up.
We won't tell the neighbours about their garage door
