Renewed brake fluid, closed my eyes and said a little prayer each time I undid a nipple, didn't want to snap them off, everything fine though.
What I also did was lost the wheel nut key, not for the first time, left it in the wheel when I went for a test drive >:( spent about half an hour retracing route on foot, found it :y :y :y

Changed the oil on the astra. Doing a few 1000 mile interval changes as internals were a bit dirty when cam chain was done

Changed the donut bushes, neighbours now think I`ve got tourettes  ;D
Someone previously had gone to the expense of genuine GM bushes and the put them in in the wrong orientation, no wonder the tail was wagging the dog  ::)

Went done the scrappy, once she got back from shopping (she went out at 10, got back at 3 - what do they do in this time :o). This is the scrappy that was on the local news a couple of days ago, raided by the old bill ::o

Got there about 3:30, bastard thing friggin' closed. Grrrr. Journey back was 'interest', 2 different Megane owners determined to kill me, blind 'tards.

So I took the broken bit (rear window mech) out, welded the bit together, riverted back in place, jobs a good'un.

Search for gas leak on TBE. Tightened up everything that would move. Doubt it will help :(

Changed one of the exhaust clamps that I seem to keep bashing off down the lanes and gave the Omega a good clean inside and out.

I took the Vw on it's first run since engine rebuid. 90 mile round trip. Engine is lovely however Rosie (that's the name of the bus) didn't like today so repaid me by pidderling oil out of one of the rocker covers and all over my nice shiny stainless exhaust and remote oil filter housing. For fek sake!!! I changed the standard ruddy rocker covers for some supa dupa alloy ones which use a rubber gasket instead of cork and it still ruddy leaked.....................sigh why do I bother  :( :( :( :(

Tried to start the V6, flat battery....

Old battery on so I can lock it, battery now on charge. I'm really struggling to get my Mojo back for the V6.
