Finally got off my arse and started looking for a new (different) car. Going to see a V70 on Saturday.

Nice. Assuming it's a diesel, the 2.4 D5 is the one to go for.  :y
Don't need anything as powerful as that, Tigger. 2.0 D3 SE. 2014 with 140,000 miles on it, FSH, New MOT.

And manual, wouldn't trust an auto box with that many miles on it.

What are they offering you for the derv Astra?

Change of plan. He's got a grandland there that looks more suited to my needs. It's a car I'm familiar with and, with only 50,000 miles on it, looks a safer bet.
I'm going up Saturday morning and, as he has a few cars that would do me, I've got time to change my mind at least another three times before then  ;D

So come Saturday night, you'll be telling us you've decided to stick with the devil you know.  ;D
It's had it, Tigger, can't justify paying out to have the auto box looked at.

Advert has been removed since I paid a deposit. But, if your old brain had been able to keep up, you would have seen that I've changed my mind  ;D

It is a dilemma though.  :-\

I want to change mine, but the only things I've seen that I kinda like are miles away, and at moment I really CBA to go traipsing half way across the country only to find it's a shed.  ::)

I know exactly what you mean. After a lot of car searching (and soul searching) I narrowed my search to within 20 miles, and just waited for something to crop up.

Trouble is, in Dorset, you're only likely to find tractors and hay carts within that radius  ;D

.......you'll also find Darzett farm girls with loose knicker elastic who enjoy scrunpy and the back seat of a Morris Marina. :)

That's a great colour, and very similar to the electric motor car I have ordered for Mrs Opti. She can save the world now although her personality hardly fits in with the Greens or Lib Dems. :)
