Sadly not original, but as old(new) as the wishbones... and also as good quality :-\

translation in to muppet speak please??
;D when wishbones are made the ball joints are rivetted on. You cant buy the wishbones without ball joints or bushes but you can buy the bushes and ball joints separately. The quality of ball joints and bushes is directly proportional to the quality of the wishbones.

When the front bushes fail replace with poly, when rear bushes fail replace with Vauxhall as jury still out on alternatives and when balljoint fails any replacement is fine as they bolt on... So once original rivets are drilled out replacement is a piece of cake :y

The mv6 is still on it's first set of ball joints at 155.5k

would they need to have been separated when the wishbones and drop links were done 2 years ago?  if so maybe there's some hope.....

otherwise....  i wonder what WIM would charge to fit them while doing a geometry job....

As your MV6 been poly'd? If not, rather than just changing ball joints, I strongly consider changing the whole wishbone  :y

Trying to eliminate rust within the left wheel arche. Or is it rim wheel housing. Issue is the damper and springtime. I do not have the right resources to eliminate it securely.

We have been assuming its the dust covers on the balljoint wishbones, but it could be the ones on the steering linkage joints. I had an advisory on some of those a couple of years ago. I think the OP,s post would make more sense if that were the case.

At long last got the rear anti rattle springs from VX for 3.2 so now all brakes are replaced and as they should be.

Didnt realise those rear pads were so damn tight to fit even with both pistons pushed fully back. ???

Full brake bleed and complete fluid replacement planned for tomorrow morning  :y

Had fitted a set 4 Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance tyres to the 16" alloys I'm fitting to my Elite in place of the 17's with low profile conti 3's. Why? I hear you ask. Because I don't like the ride on low profile tyres.
I ordered these from Mytyres on the 6th, delivered on the 9th.

Also had fitted a set of Vredestein Snowtracs to SWMBO's car, so that we have at least a chance of getting out of our close in the snow.

I pay £10 a corner for fitting, balancing & tyre disposal, which I think is a good price. :y
