Yesterday I watched chrisgixer replace my front discs and pads, as he took pity on my condition.  When his back was turned, I managed to get some copper grease in there, but don't tell him :P

Thanks chrisgixer, I couldn't have done that job for a few weeks, and I wanted it done before going away next month :y

I began project Calibra this weekend, new CV boot, Roll bar balljoints, rear pads and brake overhaul, oil change, fixed dodgy wipers, undersealed completely, rehung and sealed the exhaust and just have rocker cover gasket to do then it's in for it's MOT. I'm off for a pint now, think I have earned it ;)

i had a bit of a bum clentched moment today in miggy, whilst towing a vectra back home id bought all i could hear was clunk clunk with every bump in rd, thought it was just a-frame banging so pulls over toinvestigate, finds previous owner had tried to remove the towbar and having failed to do had left the bolts loose and theres me trundling along with a vectra on the a-frame at 50mph, tightened as well as i could with wheel brace and got home a little slower
