Took the new 3.2 to the local Vauxhall dealers for an MOT. I thought the fail list would be as long as my arm and that would make me decide to break it. It only failed on a near side front tyre, it's fighting off the scrapyard quite well this one ::)

Took the Omega for Mot and it passed so that's a result.  :y

Only advisory was for 'deteriorating' (delaminating) wishbone rear bush both sides but it still passed as no excessive movement in the bush.  :y

did they view it with wheels off the floor? Or wheels loaded on a ramp?

Started doing the brake pads on the M3.. discovered that:

a) the N/S wheel was stuck on. Got that off.
b) The discs are below min thickness, so need replacement
c) The dust boot has come off at least one caliper piston and been eaten by the brakes, so the brakes need a rebuild :(

This could also go under the "Jobs you wish you'd never started" thread!

Should be doing a (well overdue) oil change on the Omega, but can't be bothered to shuffle the broken M3 out of the way now.. bah.

Usually checked with the wheels hanging.

Looked at it and thought it was in desperate need of a wash ::)

Drove it, filled up with LPG (£46) and, in preparation for "The Beast from the East", Petrol (£65) :o :'(

Still... The petrol should see me through to the other end of the summer ::)
