Yes, dismantled in the garage normally.

It was given to my parents by my grandad when I was born, to ease the burden of family camping holidays given the limited boot space in their Triumph Herald. My grandad wasn't the type to buy something brand spanking new when he could weld together a few bits of scrap either! ;D

Noticed a few cracks in the sidewalls on the original tyres last time I used it so treated it. Bet the new tyres won't last as well!

"The India Rubber Company" made them. Dates them from sometime between 1885 and 1972, I believe. ;D

I haven't had a single minute to spare to even put fuel in either car this week.I have however a new found respect for my 19 year old 150,000 mile Cavalier. It has been thrashed within an inch of its life between home/work,work/hospital,hospital back to work - flat out up and down the A12 and around the country roads and lanes of my area of North Essex.
It has allowed me to abuse it as a means of relieving the stress of an 84 hour week, coupled with a very serious family medical emergency, which has required 3 hours sleep and daily hospital visits in between 15 hour nighshifts all week, and now 12 hour dayshifts today and tomorrow. Im exhausted, but it seems that the old Cavaier isn't.It hasn't complained or faltered once so far.The best value for money car Ive ever owned in my life.Im getting attached to the old heap of rust for some illogical reason.
I have given it a much deserved day off today, and pressed the Omega into service. :)

Noticed one of the 1/4 worn tyres on Mrs VXL's estate has a cut through to the canvas in the sidewall. FFS.
