FINALLY! I got the car to a local garage and got the front locking nut removed  :D Only snag is it ruined the wheel around the bolt hole  >:( never mind eh? at least the tyre with the 3 inch split and the tyre with no tread are off !
The 2 steels on the front looks pants though and my wallet is £20 lighter (thanks GM and Mcgard for making such a rubbish product)

I ran my old Elite with 2 steels on the front for ages , improved the handling no end  ;D   :D

Bought some presents - droplinks, tie rods and brake pads.
Oh, and the replacement lpg parts should be here in the morning.
Just need a week off work to get cracking  :D

Finally have a hand brake that works on the cabby,just need to swap lowering springs back to original springs,must be getting old these days  ;D
Oh and roof down again for the day  ;D ;D

The DTi has had some much needed attention today. New pads all around and some nice heated MV6 leather Recaros :)

Today I have mostly ignored 3 warning lights (as I did yesterday) and other faults and am looking for a suitable tree branch to give it a John Cleese style thrashing.

Washed all the dirt off to see how much tinworm I need to deal with in the summer. On my new purchase  :'( :'( :'(

Yes, looks very plod electrics to me to, lots of fuses, relays and a controller.
