Found out I sold my car to a pair of scammers :o

On the plus side, the finance company had cleared me to release it as the payment had cleared...

Sadly the person whose card was used found out... And took exception.

Shit,what happens now ???

Finance company own a car they can't find :-\

Have had confirmation that they cleary gave me clearance to release it, as I had not only made it a condition of sale, but also confirmed with them directly that the payment had indeed cleared prior to releasing the car, and that they were satisfied for me to release it.

Have written to DVLA to state that I am no longer the keeper of the car, explaining why.

Fortunately the buyer paid the finance company directly, so it is they that have been defrauded, and as the car was sold for the value of the outstanding balance, and not a penny more or less, I have gained (and lost) nothing from it...

lucky escape, but several lessons to be learnt from

Polished the Dennis, never know when you might get called to a sudden garage fire.
Oh Mr DTM, I am gonna drive* to Nottingham and kill you. Then kill you again, just to be sure...

Notice that TBE had had a big, big wee wee all over the drive. Bugger and double 'dangle berries'.

Drove TBE to Banbury due to an emergency.

Can anyone guess the emergency? Women, can't live with 'em, can't shoot 'em
Key locked in boot?

As he was driving TBE, can't be as Rusty bullet, has a rusty boot latch  ::)  ;D

Flat tyre?
It wasn't a car emergency. In my mind, it wasn't any form of emergency, but she had a bee in her bonnet over it :P

The "emergency" was her Kindle was broken, so we had to go and replace it straight away ;D

As said, can't live with 'em, can't shoot 'em

Carrying on from my last post in this thread got one door card done today as i'm not a footy fan

Well pleased with it

Took me about 4 hours in all. Hardest bit was the hand hole

Cant decide wether to do the bit behind the compartment latch. It actually looks ok in real life
