Drove it to the curry house, hit a wall, re fuelled it, and drove home. In the rain.

Drove the M3 to work.. noticed that my weird 'hammering' (like a tiny jackhammer) noise & vibration is intermittently back at idle when in neutral.

Did a Google search and found this: http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=464556

tl;dr: Noise is probably clutch pivot, which means box off to replace. FFS.

Replaced the zafira fuel flap lock solenoid, and the old one is under warranty so vauxhall can have it back.

well-were do I start----front arms and tyres all round and repair one rear arch and straight through another mot-not bad only 15000 miles since last mot :D
