Another day on the CDX LPG saloon, had a what sounded like, valve knocking sound after doing the cam belt change even though I checked the timing a few times before putting it all back together.

So took it all apart again today and started again, all back together but also changed the plugs with Vauxhall parts, on the 246 side the coil pack was loose. Would any arcing sound like a valve knocking ?

All back together now and no knocking sound. Now polishing HID's. :y

Finally got the four wheel alignment done on the 3.0,had to replace the rear track rods first....frigg me those Lemforders aren't cheap at £120 a pop. Think I won't be rooting around the back end on the other two cars until I come back from my holiday.......can't wait ::)

Had both of my omegas wishbones replaced today and cant believe what a great difference there is to the driving/steering /braking to my car and that is before taking it to have the tracking/camber done...on inspection of old units one was badly worn and the other was average so well worth having them both replaced...chuffed now... :y :)

Took all the coolant system off the MV6, removed coil packs and inlet manifold. Starting to look a bit sad now :-\

Should save having a PNC check every time I drive past a traffic car ::)

Might wash it after tea...
