Front suspension stripped and refitted... 168k and all GM parts... probably original from the state of the arms/bushes :o No wonder it drove like a mushy sponge ::)

Also carried out a wiring repair to the headlight level sensor... now all working as it should with no warnings 8)

Got the engine nice and hot before dropping the oil... all set to drop the sump and convert the oil filter to a spin on one tomorrow, then it will be just the rear brakes and adjusters to sort on Thursday.

Cheap german ones... won't be refurbing these ones as they are well past their best... along with B4 fronts and Irmscher springs and new trackrods/droplinks too ;)

Will go to WIM if required, but my MoT place now has the facility, so might give them a chance first :y

Well sump removed, strainer checked to reveal...

A tube of grey goo later and all back together.

Did a couple of other jobs whilst at it. Spot the pointless 'mod' and the sensible one...

I'll let you lot decide which is which ;)

Close enough ;D

Undertray got a clean whilst it was off, and I had a can of ultra rare Star Silver, so figured I might as well use it ::)

At least next time it leaks, I will be able to tell what's leaking :D
