Fitted the crank sensor which turned out to be a rather simple job for a change, Had a little bit of sun this morning between 9 and 12 for the first time in weeks it felt like so up the car went  ;D

The old crank sensor appears to be the original the way it was rooted which is pretty good for 202,000 miles if it was the original :y... Also the car sounds a tad better after the new crank sensor although that could be a placebo effect.

In last two months I have changed the interior from cloth to fully heated leather, put sound proofing in the doors, replaced door speakers with alpine ones, replaced all dash bulbs and vent bulbs to led. Had the carbon effect changed on doors and centre console and on various parts of trim. Had Vectra rocker covers adapted to fit. Fixed headlight leveling sensors. Replaced glove box and arm rest lid. Only just started lol still waiting for the engine and gearbox to be removed from an estate (manual) and going to rebuild it and replace the auto thats in my mv6. Have sourced manual mv6 ecu too. Its a labour of love lol

Going to take the 3.2 to be MOT'd locally here, not back home for once. I expect it to fail on tyres...

I'm using garage around the corner, but it's the one opposite from the 'Vauxhall Specialist'  ::)

Watched the 3.2 sail through an MOT with no advisories.  :y I felt so elated that I treated it to a new rear wiper, as the other one had disintegrated.  ::)

Good luck :y

If it needs new tyres, though, why not get some slapped on?  You're not expecting it to fail on anything significant otherwise?

Says me, the Chav needs tyres, but I just cannot make up my mind what to put on :(

Still legal :).  Shouldn't be, as grip is shocking. But she likes it as it drives straight as a die.

As I virtually never drive it any more, I'm tempted to put Michelin on it, as they tend to drive straight, which is all she cares about...   ...well, that and enough power to get past what she calls "pathetic men with small dicks"

Actually inspected them this morning, still ok-ish, got some meat above the wear indicator across the whole tyre. Did not get a chance to do it today, tempted to try a 'While-U-Wait' MOT up the road, they do nothing but MOT's so can't really fail it so they can do work.
