Brakkers has a town hall and a town council. Therefore, it makes it a town.  I'm sure the more up-their-own-arses residents would like to think of it as a village, but the reality is it's a small market town, no matter what that Gixer fella may say - and lets face it, he hardly has room to talk, does he :P

Removed the alternator from the 3.2 and then the regulator. Tried to get a new regulator today but no joy so will have to order one.
I'm an impatient sod and I want it NOW. I don't want to order it, I want to go in to a shop and buy it NOW. I was willing to travel millions of miles today just to get one. The art of face to face purchasing is dying so I've got to join the masses and order online.  >:(
Luckily I have the German to drive about in while I'm waiting.  :)

First service on the 3.2. Oil changed, oil filter, Air filter, cleaned the breathers, which appear to have not been done in years.
Changed the plugs after scooping the oil out of the passenger side plug wells  ::). Found a vacuum pipe to the rear multiram chaffed through, fixed that. Retorqued camcovers as some of the bolts were less than 8nm.  ::)
Tomorrow, weather & energy levels depending, change the cambelt & tensioners.,
