Oil change on the 3.2, attempted to start the 2.2. Failed.  :(
You still got that? I assumed you'd scrapped it.

Not sure if its worth stripping nowadays - though if its being picked up by scrappy, shame not to keep some spares for the 3.2 :)

Finding it tough to let it go, might take boot and bonnet struts off. They are stronger than 3.2's.

Other than that, sod all to take off really.

Will probably donate it to local fire station, they have a sign up, free collection, they can use it for practice.

One of my old bosses a few years back signed me up for an anger course.  I didn't attend, saying that I had no trouble getting angry :P

Strangely enough, that same boss said I had the patience of a saint...   ...except with stupid people, when I had "issues"

If you do that, ensure that you label the box you put it in. Something like Omega Junk is sensible.
When you finally throw it all away in several years time you won't need to sort through it.

That has never happened to me.
I still occasionally find "useful" stuff for my first car, that I bought 28 years ago, and sold the remains of 6 years later. Losing the lockups was an excellent reason to dispose of all sorts of crap that should never have been kept in the first place.

Put £35 of Asda unleaded in it, as the flashing light and constant big picture of a fuel pump on the CID was starting to grate.

It's amazing what bits you need for an Omega project! Some of the oddest / most obscure parts have been robbed off the last car I broke for parts.

Antifreeze, I believe, is very 'searching', so an over strong / concentrated mix could find its way out at a joint, union or connection that it normally wouldn't leak from.

Discovered my drivers side front spring has snapped on the 2.5 Estate  :-\

Fitted new front suspension to the Demio, MOT in the morning! Somewhat simpler and easier to work on than the Omega. Mind you even the Omega has nothing for complexity of suspension compared to the A6 I once had.
