Did a little welding on the 190. Not pretty, but got two bits of metal joined together. Reasonably pleased with my first proper attempt with the mig welder.  :)

Fitted the new, non S/L rear springs. I have a new pair to replace the tired utterly knackered fronts, but I really can't face doing them today so I'm going for a beer. While I'm there, I might consider what I'm going to do about the now two-piece diff mount.

I was thinking more of cut it out, and sandblast the metal parts. Then knock up a quick jig using the 'good' one for dimensions, and pour in some castable urethane. I have a rough 3d model of what I intend to make, and will continue this in the Wheeler's Workshop thread. :y

Although if anyone has a complete diff mount they could lend me, I can make the jig first so the car is only unusable overnight.
