Best keep quiet then,  They will say that only a franchised dealer car do anything on your car, and that the service is excellent and value for money. They must be great outfits, as the coffee is nice.

 :o  Shock horror.
If it gets mentioned, just tell them that you know for a fact that car dealerships receive the same (but rebadged) towbar that you and I can buy over the counter elsewhere. Due to the short turnaround of my vehicles a few years back, I had to fit many towbars for towing my caravan. The towbar would be plated with the towing/hitch nose weight etc. and be badged with the vehicle manufacturers name plate on. The box it arrived in had Brink written on it.  :) 
On later vehicles it would have Witter or Westfalia stamped on the box but the vehicle manufacturers name plate on the metalwork. It's not in a vehicle manufacturers interest to make towbars when there are dedicated companies out there that specialise in it.  :y
Hope it doesn't upset the Jaguaaaar enthusiasts too much to learn that their genuine Jaguaaaar towbar is a rebadged version of yours.  :y ;D

The 330 is my brothers, on loan to get Mother around pending the fixing of the Merc... Obviously a slight logistical hiccup given Batflu.

As soon as I get the V5 back for the Merc, I can un sorn it properly assess the fix...

The Merc is the Trolley replacement.  ;)

Cracking engine.  :y  Straight six, oodles of torque, bags of power right from the off and decent economy considering its power.  :y
I've had that engine in various guises over the years and it just got better.  :y
