Discovered the battlebus's driver seat has a broken backrest.

Which leaves a dilemma, its due an MOT in about 3 weeks.  Find a replacement seat or a replacement car.

I'd suggest welding it, but you'd probably manage to set my Morris project alight in the process ;D

Would an Omega seat bolt in?

Or worst case swap it for the passenger seat and get an advisory for seat not fitted :-\

Failing that, I know someone about to be selling a W220...

The Mondeo was looking a bit sorry for itself, so it's Christmas present was the £8.49 Platinum programme at the local car wash!  :)
Did you round it up to £8.50 to include the tip? ;D

Until (IF!) I strip in, not sure whats broken.  Never stripped a Zafira one, but imagine similar to most others.  I don't think its the main frame, probably one of the "springs" that go across the back.

Hosed the mud off the RRS after yesterday's jaunt over the farm to walk the dogs, too chilly to wash it properly.

Only 1 person washes the Zafira as well. Me.  Because I refuse to pay to get it cleaned.  Most time its cleaned by one of those big machines with big whirly brushes.

Nobody washes the Big Black Pussy. Including me.  The rain washes it off.

In the immortal words of Gavin.... Watched a windscreen chip turn into a crack. Hit by a stone on the way to work, by the time I got home again its cracked all the way along. Poppycock.
