It’s dead I tell you…..

The parrot is dead?………… ;D

                 Nice plumage  ;D

But are you really sure it is dead?  You know, really dead?……

 ;D ;D ;)
Well it has been eaten and the bones stewing for stock...

But is it really dead….? Dead, as in dead……..hanging upside down from it’s perch…….dead……..are the bones for the stew really of the dead parrot……..? ;D :D

We need the voice of John Cleese now….. :D

Did a bit more on the moneypit.
Discovered by a quick look at the handbrake guide... That there should be a pair of return springs where mine has always had split pins holding the cable on. I clearly remember cursing whoever had fitted cheap horrible ones the first time I changed the handbrake cable, many moons ago. I cursed them again today for good measure.

We stayed in Beadnell a few years ago. If you're not fussy on castles there's not a lot to do.  ;D

Had another go at diagnosing Pierres problem to day with no success.
The cambelt jumped a few teeth at tickover, so took the rocker cover off and checked what I could. Pushed all the lifters down and they all sprung back up ok. Clearances all similar, so may have been lucky and not caused any real damage - maybe ?
Connected jump leads from the Omega and tried to start it. It spun over fine with no worrying noises but would only briefly fire up when I sprayed some brake cleaner down the air intake.
No fuel getting sent to the injectors and I cant fathom why.  :-\ ::)

I thought that sort of behaviour was considered a cardinal sin on here?  ???  ::)

Or is it only a sin to do it to an Omega?  :-\  ;D
